Two people have died after a crash in Lake County, according to officials with the Leesburg Police Department.On August 4, 2021, at approximately 11:29 a.m., the Leesburg Police Department responded to a motor vehicle crash on U.S. Highway 441, at the intersection of Mark Road, according to the report.The preliminary investigation revealed a 2018 Kenworth tractor-trailer, driven by John Kilgore, of Leesburg, was traveling north on U.S. Highway 441 when a 2001 Lincoln passenger car, driven by Jacqueline Edmonds of Leesburg with a female passenger, turned left in front of the tractor-trailer while turning on to Mark Road.
