Mr. Connor began his career as a COI at Fulton Reception and Diagnostic Center in 2013 and promoted to Corrections Officer II at Boonville Correctional Center September, 2017. Staff andoffender family members attended the ceremony, which was followed by a reception with cake and ice cream. Keener Tippin, Site Director for Ashland University informs us that Three Ashland University Students at Boonville Correctional Center recently graduated from the Universitys Correctional Education in December. are approved and expected. So far in this FY21, approximately 17 students have earned their HiSet, which is quite a feat with reduced class sizes and COVID restrictions! CS I Stanley Knipp began his career with the DOC as a CO I on October 13, 2009 and was promoted to the position of CO II on November 1, 2012 and to the position of CO III June 25, 2017. Daniels has shown how to properly train new officers that work in Housing Unit 5 and communicates well with Classification staff in the unit. RJ and P4P paid off the negative school lunch balances for Boonville High School with monies collected through those organizations totaling $373.19 covering 85 students. Mr. Connor attended State Fair Community College and has related experience with Advanced Fence and Rail in addition to carpentry, welding/soldering, plumbing and electrical. He has experience at various institutions including BCC, MSP, TCC and PCC. BCC's Puppies for Parole Program,Inspire Motivate Prisoners and Canines Together (IMPACT),completed training of 12 dogs in April.
